Should I buy the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S3 for $800?...

So this bad boy is available from Amazon, and it should be shipping out on June 1st if you pre-order it. Seems so tempting... We know that imported devices usually cost more, but this one is going for a whopping $800. OUCH!

I mean the phone is great and all, and I am tempted to just go for it. I figure it should not be too long before the American versions come out, though. Cheaper, with LTE and maybe even better. Plus, my Galaxy Nexus is still kicking major rear.

What do you guys think? Is it worth paying that much money to be one of the first in the US to have Samsung's flagship device?

Unlocked GSM Galaxy S3 up for pre-sale on Amazon for $800 (and why you should probably wait)

well, being a GS3 user i know about all the faults and drawbacks including the hidden ones of this tempting phone. i am saying it tempting because it looks amazing from the outside, but when you start using this so called amazing device then only you come to know the real story. i am not calling it a total failure but its not something what you call "exemplary". i too got attracted by its look and design at very first glance, which i would say a truly captivated in its own way (true beauty), but apart from that the rest of the things are not as good as they must have been. there are so many good choices available in the market for you such as HTC's Evo series, HTC Mozart, Apple iphone 4S, etc etc. if you desire to read each and everything about your dream phone, or you want to ask anything about these devices, or want to read the user comments and problems occurring in mobile phones, or anything else that relates to your mobile phone, you can visit here:-

The phone is no longer as expensive now that it has been released through all major carriers in the US. After giving it some thought, I decided to stick with my Galaxy Nexus until something bigger comes around. You are right, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is a cool device, arguably the best, but not amazing enough for me to switch.

I love my phone. And Jelly Bean is treating me very well!
