Last thing we heard about the upcoming Nexus smartphone(s) is that there would actually be multiple Nexus devices released, all from different manufacturers. It all went quiet after that rumor, but it seems the train is going to start moving again. And as you may remember, once a Nexus rumor train starts, it is hard to stop it.
New Nexus rumors heat up, DoCoMo doc suggests handsets from LG, Sony, Samsung
Either way, it seems we may have at least 3 contenders: Samsung, LG and Sony. Personally, I would like to see HTC bringing a good option. I am a big fan of their build-quality and I assume they will all have similar specs and, of course, the same software.
Regardless, let's see where this takes us. But which manufacturer would you go for?

Apparently the whole system is going to change. Rumors are going crazy now, but I read earlier that it is not that many nexus devices are coming, it is more about the system. If the rumors are true, Google is trying to change the Nexus system to allow more manufacturers to make their own Nexus devices. Google would just have certain standards manufacturers have to follow. It sounds crazy, but imagine the possibilities! Say good bye to slow updates....

That is some crazy stuff.... I mean slapping early updates and stock Android on anything would make it successful. Maybe in a way this would be a great idea, if manufacturers go through with it. But I also like the fact that manufacturers make UI changes. I mean many times they are horrible, but look at what Samsung has done with the Galaxy Note 2? Those are some awesome UI customizations!
